Also known as Lys-Pro-Val, α-MSH (11-13)
A tripeptide corresponding to the C-terminus of α-MSH, studied in cellular-signaling research. Supplied as a documented reference standard.
KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. In research models it is studied for anti-inflammatory cellular signaling that appears to be independent of the melanocortin receptors engaged by the full α-MSH peptide.
KPV is a three-residue peptide (Lys-Pro-Val) with a molecular weight of ~342.4 g/mol — among the smallest references in the catalogue, which makes it analytically straightforward.
Although derived from α-MSH, KPV is studied in cellular-signaling research rather than as a melanocortin agonist. It is examined alongside other tissue-signaling references such as BPC-157.
Supplied lyophilised; store cold and dry and follow the standard storage and light & moisture handling guidance.
Identity and purity are documented by mass spectrometry and HPLC; the small size gives clean, well-resolved chromatograms.
All references describe in-vitro research only. KPV is supplied as a research-use-only reference standard and is not for human or veterinary use.
Store lyophilised at -20 °C; reconstituted material at 2–8 °C within the analytical window.
Reconstituted purity tracked by HPLC over the storage window.
Research use only — All products and content are intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical use. Not for human or veterinary use, not for consumption, and not for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.
