Also known as NNC 26-0161
A growth-hormone secretagogue pentapeptide studied in somatotropic-axis signaling research. Supplied as a documented reference standard.
Ipamorelin is a selective growth-hormone secretagogue pentapeptide acting at the ghrelin/secretagogue receptor. Its selectivity makes it a frequently used reference for probing secretagogue signaling in the somatotropic axis.
It is a five-residue peptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH₂, ~711.9 g/mol). The non-natural residues contribute to its receptor selectivity and stability.
See the GHRH and GH signaling overview. Ipamorelin is commonly studied alongside GHRP-6 and is often combined in research with the GHRH analogue CJC-1295.
Supplied lyophilised; store cold and dry, aliquot after reconstitution, and budget freeze-thaw cycles as for any short peptide.
Identity and purity are documented per lot by mass spectrometry and HPLC; see the analytical verification workflow.
All references describe in-vitro and pre-clinical research only. Supplied as a research-use-only reference standard, not for human or veterinary use.
Store lyophilised at -20 °C; reconstituted material at 2–8 °C within the analytical window.
Reconstituted purity tracked by HPLC over the storage window.
Research use only — All products and content are intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical use. Not for human or veterinary use, not for consumption, and not for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.
